Bambi Pie

Yes, Bambi, as in the deer meat on this pizza. "I have a present for Kyle," my mom said during my last visit at her house. She loaded me up with some deer meat-- spicy sticks (for Kyle? those are MY weakness mom!) and a ring sausage. I bought a pizza crust and a jar of sun dried tomato pesto to use as the sauce. Then I sauteed up the sausage I had cut into 1/4 inch rounds, along with half a sweet onion. I topped it all off with mozzarella and baked that Bambi. Mmm mmm mmm, thank God for overpopulated animals. For those of you out there that don't think I blog about meat enough, well I might have gone a bit overboard on this one.
