My dad, the grill master extraordinaire, grills cornish game hens often and he inspired me to give it a shot. I used this rub that I've mentioned on my blog before. It really is amazingly flavorful. I need to restock now. I cut the hens in half first so the would grill faster, but they still took way longer than I anticipated. While the flavor was great, these little birds are a lot of work to eat, very tedious and messy if you ask Kyle and I. Call us lazy, but I think we'll stick to boneless meat here on out. I served these up with some sugar and vinegar cucumbers, a staple in our fridge throughout the summer. They are the opposite of tedious.
